I’m fresh off of my holiday vacation from blogging and I have to say, it felt SO weird not going out to take pictures and clinging to my laptop for dear life. Although I did enjoy disconnecting for a while, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy to be back in the swing of things. This is something I’m very passionate about and I really enjoy doing it. With that said, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and families 🙂
If you’ve been reading with me for a while, then you’ll remember me mentioning how much I LOVE vintage clothing. Being brought up in a household of 6 kids, my mom and dad did their absolute best to make sure we had everything we needed, but there were definitely rough times. So what’s a fashionista to do when money is tight? Hit up the thrift stores! For as long as I can remember, my sisters and I used to go thrift shopping. You just can’t beat the prices, and you would NOT believe the treasures that people just toss away like trash. Thrifting taught me how to shop for bargains, it forced me to learn how to mix and match my clothes and taught me how to spot a diamond in the rough. That’s why when I saw today’s dress on eBay, I didn’t wait to bid on it…I pulled a BUY IT NOW! I wanted to make sure no one else could get to it before I did.
This dress is so old Hollywood to me. I love how simple and sophisticated it is and I’m actually thankful for the rain this weekend because had it not rained, I wouldn’t have worn my bun 🙂
Here’s my look:

I am SO in love with this dress. I may just walk around the house and dust in it. LOL!
Have you ever had a love affair with vintage clothing? If so, what are some of your favorite pieces?
Until next time!
