After spending the entire week AND weekend sick at home with the flu, I’m so happy to finally be feeling human again. Even though my voice is still gone, I can’t tell you how good it feels to actually have the strength to get out of bed. I’m pretty sure I caught the flu as a result of being stuck in a Charlotte airport all day last Sunday, which pretty much sealed the deal for my reason to never fly US Airways again. I hope I’m not offending anyone, but for me, it’s Delta or BUST. Because of my sickness, I wasn’t able to get out to take outfit pictures like I usually do on Sundays. Thankfully, I had some extra outfit pics taken from about a week ago that I haven’t used yet. Whew!
You know by now that I love jewelry but I don’t believe I’ve ever worn any of my wooden accessories on the blog before. I’ve had the T-Bags dress I’m wearing today for quite a while and since the fabric reminds me of bamboo, I really like to wear my wooden accessories with it. To be honest, wooden accessories can’t be worn with everything, but they certainly add a great statement when worn with the right outfit. If you enjoy going to arts and crafts fairs or boutiques that sell handmade jewelry, those are some of the best places to find great wooden jewelry pieces. As a matter of fact, I found all of the wooden accessories I’m wearing in today’s post at arts and crafts fairs here in Atlanta.
Here’s my look:

I really love how these wooden accessories pop against the fabric of the dress…It’s rare for darker colors to provide a pop. Be sure to check out some of my favorite wooden accessories below!
Do you have any wooden accessories? Where did you get them?
Until next time!
