I’m fresh off of the weekend and from the looks of the weather here in Atlanta I got an early glimpse into fall. The temperatures were a bit lower this weekend than they have been and I really enjoyed it. When I think of fall I instantly start to think of transitional clothing. Not everyone realizes that there are quite a few summer pieces that can easily help you transition into fall. Wrap dresses are one of those pieces. I’m excited to be teaming up with Shabby Apple today to show you one of their very sexy and sophisticated wrap dresses!
Because most wrap dresses are made with 3/4 inch sleeves and lighter fabrics, they can be comfortably worn in both warm and cool temperatures. You can easily wear strappy sandals with a wrap dress in the summer and then transition into pumps or high boots for the fall and winter. Since it was in the 70s on Sunday morning, the Zig Zag Stardust Dress was the perfect dress to wear! It’s a long dress with 3/4 inch sleeves so it provided enough coverage for me not to be too cold. And even though the dress is long, it wasn’t long enough for me to trip up over it. If you’re a shorter person like me, then you’ll do well with this dress because it makes you appear taller. It fits the curves beautifully as well, and doesn’t need a lot of embellishments. I chose to wear simple jewelry and my favorite pair of ankle strap sandals to complete the look.
Here’s my look:
